Professor Zhiguo Jiang: Received BEng, MSc and PhD degrees from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 1987, 1990 and 2005, respectively. He subsequently worked as a teaching assistant at School of Astronautics, Beihang University. He was appointed Lecturer, Deputy Professor and Professor in image processing and pattern recognition in 1992, 1996 and 2005, respectively. Professor Jiang was appointed Vice Dean of the School of Astronautics at Beihang University in 2006, who is responsible for the School research affairs. He currently serves as a standing member of the Executive Council of China Society of Image and Graphics. He is an Editor for the Chinese Journal of Stereology and Image Analysis. Professor Jiang's current research interests include Remote Sensing Image Analysis and Recognition; Target detection, tracking and recognition. Professor Jiang is currently conducting research on "Remote sensing image segmentation and understanding based on data-driven Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm", which is sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China (2008-2010, 60776793). |
